USC SVAD's Annual Holiday sale is this Thursday and Friday , the 21st & 22nd, @ McMaster College (1615 Senate Street
Columbia, SC 29208)! The NAEA student chapter will be there from 8:30am-5:30pm on Thursday & 8:30am-3pm on Friday. We'll have t- shirts, wrapping paper, ornaments, various artworks, baked goods, soups, and numerous other things for sale. Come out and support USC NAEA student chapter as well as the other student organizations that will be around!

Our Artisans Gallery fundraiser at NAEA conference in Boston was a big success!

Need a fun activity this Sunday, September 23rd? Join us in room 334 McMaster at 4PM for an ORNAMENT Workshop. All Art Education Majors are welcome!

We are taking orders for the Super Art Teacher shirts! If you would like to order one, just let me know your name, a way to contact you, and what color and size you would like!! They are super soft! The women’s run very small, and the men’s are very typical.

Our meeting today from 4-6 will be an open studio to make work for the holiday sale along with a presentation from our own VP Erin ward on her scholarship experience!! Come hang out with us today in mcmaster 334!

This coming Sunday is our next meeting!!! We will be organizing and prepping for the upcoming holiday sale and planning our trip to greenville for the state conference. We will have a sign up sheet to to work the holiday sale table, we need volunteers!

If you haven't already heard, there was a shooting at Townville Elementary School in Anderson County ( a ways north west of here) where the news is reporting that two six year olds are currently in critical condition in local hospitals along with one adult. Let us send our thoughts, prayers, good vibes or whatever you fancy to those in that community dealing with this atrocity. News reports are being updated so check wis or wltx for updates.
