I had an incredible time at Camp Glam this week! It was my first year attending, and I can confidently say I’ll be back next year. I had the opportunity to speak with this wonderful group of young ladies about the importance of heart disease prevention, as well as sharing a special singing performance with them. It was such a meaningful experience, and I am grateful for the chance to combine two of my passions—advocacy and the arts. Thank you to the amazing staff who made this opportunity possible and created such a memorable week. 🫶🏼
This week, I had the opportunity to deliver baby dolls to Prisma Health, that are specially designed to help children prepare for surgery. These dolls have been a meaningful project for me over the years, and I was excited to return with another donation! Supporting children during what can often be a difficult and uncertain time is incredibly rewarding. Experiences like this remind me the importance of service and the impact that even small acts of kindness can have on the lives of others. ❤️

Volunteering at the animal shelter was one of my very first community service experiences, so it was incredibly meaningful to return, especially with my brothers by my side. I have always had a deep love for animals, and being able to spend time with them again meant so much to me.
I remember walking through these rooms in the past and seeing so many cages filled with animals waiting for homes. Coming back and seeing only a few occupied truly made my day and was such a heartwarming reminder of the impact adoption can make. I had the opportunity to walk Opal, and she was such a special dog who deserves the most loving forever family. Unfortunately my brothers and I are allergic to cats, but we always make sure to stop by there as well!
