Proud to see Tanner, Kerre and the entire CF Cattle Company crew spotlighted for the incredible work they’re doing to connect consumers to Missouri beef. From raising cattle to raising the next generation, this family is the real deal. 🤝🥩
As we continue to celebrate BEEF MONTH, travel through story to visit CF Cattle Company, which overlooks a horizon made for sunsets near Ava in Agri-Ready Designated Douglas County.
This generational cow-calf ranch is a family owned and operated partnership that includes Rancel and Janie Clark and their son, Tanner, and his wife Kerre.

Meet Lanie Milliken, our summer intern.
Raised with livestock responsibilities from a young age, agriculture quickly became more than a lifestyle, it became her passion.
Now a senior studying ag communications + animal science at Missouri State University, she’s passionate about becoming a strong voice for the beef industry through producer outreach and consumer education, all while advocating for the industry she knows and loves.
We can’t wait to see the impact she makes this summer and beyond 🔥.

“It was something we built through hard work, and it’s a moment I’ll never forget.” ❤️
From two cows and a modest home in southwest Missouri to a growing family cattle operation (5K Cattle Co.), the Keaton story is one built on patience, grit and a deep respect for agriculture.
Today, Vance and Jennifer (with their children) operate a spring and fall calving herd, replacement heifer development program and a custom meat business that connects their beef directly with consumers across the four-state area.
Each piece of the operation reflects a long-term commitment to quality and trust.
Vance’s background in 4-H and agricultural education continues to influence his perspective as both a producer and advocate. He remains dedicated to strengthening the beef industry and ensuring consumers understand the value behind the product they enjoy.
At its core, the Keaton operation is still guided by the same foundation it started on ... hard work, steady growth and a belief in doing things right. 🔥🥩
