The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) at USC School of Medicine-Columbia will be hosting the Annual Pre-Med Conference Saturday, November 10th from 8 am – 3 pm.

This conference is targeted for students from racial/ ethnic minority backgrounds and/or students interested in practicing medicine in underserved communities. However, the conference is open to ALL students interested in medicine. Students will receive information about topics such as: admissions, MCAT prep, tuition costs, etc. Each student will also have the opportunity to practice hands-on clinical skills in addition to learning how to operate Ultrasound machines.

We had a great time with the kids tonight making healthy parfaits for SNMA’s October Service Protocol “Obesity Prevention”. Thanks to our volunteers.

We would like to thank all of our community partners and volunteers for their participation in our 9th annual "Healthy People Health Fair" this past Friday. We would also like to thank our sponsors Bible Way Church of Atlas Rd., Bethel AME of Columbia, and Save A Lot of Harden St. for helping us provide 30 bags of healthy groceries to attendees.

The USC School of Medicine Chapter of SNMA is elated to announce our 9th annual "Healthy People Health Fair," which will be taking place at the Charles Drew Wellness Center on March 31, 2017 from 3pm to 7pm. Come out and take advantage of free Health Screenings, giveaways, and tons of fun!
