Two weeks ago, we were proud to host the Missouri FFA Career Exposition at the Hearnes Center on the University of Missouri campus! With over 5,000 students and 90+ vendors in attendance, it was an incredible day full of networking, career exploration, and opportunities for the next generation of industry leaders.

A huge thank you to the Missouri FFA Association board for partnering with us and helping plan this event over the last several years. We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this year’s expo such a success! 💛🖤

Meet Erin, a Hospitality Management senior graduating Spring 2026! 🎓

Erin has been super involved on campus as a member of Kappa Delta and as a Booking Coordinator for The Daily Blend w AC on KBIA

Her favorite part of the HM program? The people 🤍 From meeting friends her very first week to watching everyone grow and succeed, the connections she’s built have meant everything!

After graduation, Erin is heading back to NYC to pursue a career in events, ideally in sports & entertainment

And a fun fact… she’s never had a PB&J?!

Senior Spotlight: Leah Trokey

Leah is graduating Spring 2026 with a degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Business, along with Multicultural and Fitness Programming certificates!

During her time at Mizzou, Leah has been incredibly involved—serving as Treasurer for MSES, VP of Housing and Chapter President of Phi Mu, and holding leadership roles with MizzouThon as a General Leader and Main Event Director.

Her favorite part of the program? Getting to travel with fellow students for hands-on learning experiences in places like St. Louis, Kansas City, Dallas, and more!

After graduation, Leah is heading to St. Louis to spend her 6th summer as a Summer Camp Director while she explores her next career steps.

Our Hospitality Management students had the opportunity to go behind the scenes of where the Kansas City Chiefs play, connect with amazing program and industry professionals, and learn how they’re preparing for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

Senior Spotlight: Ellie Maupin

From leadership in Kappa Kappa Gamma to unforgettable memories studying abroad in Florence, Ellie has truly made the most of her time in the Hospitality Management program 🤍

Her favorite moments include experiencing new cultures abroad and planning a meaningful capstone event supporting the Alzheimer’s Association—proving she can do anything she sets her mind to!

Next up, Ellie is heading to New York to attend the Institute of Culinary Education 🍎👩‍🍳
