Our MLJ Otters had an absolute blast with Gym Bus today! 🤸🌱

From climbing to new heights, flipping with confidence, and swinging on the rings, our little adventurers were building strength, balance, coordination, and confidence—all while having so much fun! 🐴✨ Our Preschool and Pre-K friends had an unforgettable adventure at Stephens College Stables! They loved meeting the horses, saying hello to other farm animals, and learning all about how to care for these amazing creatures. When they got back, they got to read a book about horses and reflect on their field trip! Hands-on experiences like these spark curiosity, build confidence, and create memories that last a lifetime! 🐎🐈

🍪💙 Jabberwocky Wednesday at MLJCLC! 💙🍪

Today our little learners had a blast creating their very own Cookie Monster crafts with our friends from Jabberwocky Studios! 🎨 From painting to gluing on googly eyes (and of course adding a giant cookie 🍪), every child got to use their imagination while building fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence. There’s nothing sweeter than seeing their big smiles and even bigger masterpieces! 🖌️

For the past couple weeks, our school-age children at Mary Lee Johnston have been exploring, learning, and making unforgettable memories through exciting community field trips! 🌟📚🎬🏊

From discovering new stories at the library, cooling off and building confidence at the pool, to enjoying a fun day at the movies, each outing has provided meaningful, hands-on learning experiences beyond the classroom. These adventures help our children build social skills, explore their community, gain independence, and create memories that will last a lifetime.🌱

At Mary Lee Johnston Child Learning Center, learning doesn’t stop in the classroom! 🌟

Each week, our children enjoy enriching experiences that inspire creativity, movement, and confidence through incredible community partnerships. From expressive classes with Jabberwocky Studios, to graceful movement and dance with the Columbia Ballet Company, and active, fun-filled fitness adventures on the Gym Bus Express, every child has the opportunity to explore new interests and develop lifelong skills.

These enrichment lessons help our children build confidence, stay active, express themselves creatively, and discover a love for learning in exciting new ways. We are so grateful to our enrichment partners for helping us create meaningful experiences that allow our children to learn, grow, and shine every single week. 🌱📚

Our Mary Lee Johnston Community Learning Center van just got a makeover, and we couldn’t be more excited! With its clean new look, we’re ready to hit the road for even more fun, educational, and memory-filled field trips with our amazing students. 🖌️🎨

Every adventure is an opportunity to learn, and now we’ll be traveling in style! We can’t wait to make new memories together. Also, a huge thanks to UTS Promos Universi-T’s for creating a safe and stylish vehicle so that we can ride in style!
