Modeled after Visit Greenville SC's Mice on Main and sponsored by Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Sally Salamander has received a facelift from the City and Heathwood Hall Episcopal School.

From 10 to 20 stops, you can meander through Main Street and beyond, by foot. Although it's a self-guided adventure, check out the website, www.columbiasalamander.com, or just ask Experience Columbia SC if you needed a little extra help.

This past weekend in partnership with Nephron Pharmaceuticals and @heathwoodhall, @wearecolumbia launched the expansion of the Sally Salamander walking tour with ten additional sites. Originally launched by the Leadership Columbia Class of 2009, the Sally Salamander walking tour highlights businesses, architectural landmarks, historical attractions, art and culture in downtown @columbiasc by featuring numbered bronze statues of South Carolina’s state amphibian, the spotted salamander. Check out the tour for yourself and pick up a copy of the accompanying book at @mastgeneralstore!
