Our organization is for all retired school personnel. Members can engage in volunteer activities, social events, and educational and legislative events.
Boone County Retired Teachers and School Personnel organization meets the third Tuesday of the month, September through May at Hampton Inn & Suites at the University of Missouri. We advocate for secure economic retirement, healthy and vital retirement, and support of our public schools. We meet once a month at Hampton Inn & Suites at the University of Missouri at 10:30 am on the third Tuesday.
If you are looking for a simple way to volunteer, please contact me. We have many types of volunteerism to choose from and you can choose from any. We are almost 50 members strong and local group is Tuesday Club, part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Scroll through my photos for some of our pictures. Look up the organization online and you will see how lucky we are to be part of this international organization! We meet the first Tuesday of each month, except summer, at 11 AM in Columbia.

Congratulations on your retirement!
We would like to recognize you at an Ice Cream Social.
When: June 20 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Rock Quarry House and Park
2002 Grindstone Parkway, Columbia.
With either sunshine or rain (move in the house), we will have ice cream, toppings and cookies. Please bring a lawn chair in case we are outside, behind the house, in the shade of a few trees. You are very welcome to bring a colleague.

Our association is for all school personnel. We advocate for legislation regarding our PSRS/PEERS pension programs and excellent public schools. We know a strong pension program helps to keep well trained, experienced teachers in the classroom and quality personnel in their positions. We have meetings on a variety of topics.
