🏛️ Change Doesn’t Happen on the Sidelines!
We just wrapped up the 2026 SCPTA Legislative Conference at the South Carolina State House, and what a powerful day of advocacy it was!
There was something truly inspiring about standing in the heart of our state’s democracy and knowing that our voices are being heard. From networking with fellow advocates to hearing a moving message from one of our House Representatives, the day was a reminder that advocacy is the heartbeat of progress.
Our Day at a Glance:
🗣️ Direct Engagement: We met with elected officials right in the State House lobby to discuss the issues that matter most: the success, safety, and well-being of every child in South Carolina.
🏛️ Inside the Action: We headed into the gallery to witness the House and Senate in active debate, seeing firsthand how the policies affecting our schools and families are shaped.
🤝 Community & Connection: It was a fantastic day of learning how to be more effective "Voices for the Voiceless."
Advocacy isn't just a word; it’s an action. It’s showing up, speaking out, and ensuring our leaders remember who they serve: our children and our future.
So proud of this SCPTA team! 👏✨
