Dorsey Hall Chapel is a gorgeous space. Students and colleagues gathered last Thursday afternoon to hear Tyler Corbridge read from Desert Whaling, his novel manuscript.
The story involves two timelines: a futuristic account of the dried-up Great Salt Lake and the same location in 1875 as whales from the San Francisco Bay were transported to the Great Salt Lake by boat and rail for release near the mouth of the river.
