Gamecock friends, I need your help. In 1944, students placed a memorial plaque in Maxcy College to remember USC students and alumni who died in World War II. The total reached 144 names. Fast forward to today, and we don't know where this plaque ended up. It's lost. I'd like to commission a reproduction, but before doing so, I wanted to throw a Hail Mary into the internet and see if anyone, anywhere has any intel about where this might have ended up. Thanks! (The first image is the plaque in the 1946 Garnet and Black yearbook, and the other one is from a March 1944 story in the Gamecock newspaper).
