Gamma Nu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Gamma Nu Omega Chapter was chartered on February 7, 1942, and has been dedicated to serving our community on the local, state and international levels. Dedmond.

For over eight decades the chapter has been a guiding light throughout the Columbia, SC area. The Gamma Nu Omega Chapter was established in Columbia, South Carolina in February 1942 by 17 energized, sophisticated, and poised ladies under the leadership of Flossie M. Twenty-nine dynamic leaders have followed her assiduous lead in service throughout the Columbia metropolitan area. The chapter has gr

own to just under 200 members who strive continually to capture a vision fair. The chapter has grown in a variety of ways; activities have taken on a deeper meaning, the membership has increased greatly, the programs have expanded and we have formed relationships which have ripened into genuine friendships. On Saturday, August 15, Gamma Nu Omega Chapter completed our third community clean-up of the year in partnership with Keep the Midlands Beautiful! 💚🩷

Our members rolled up their sleeves, worked together, and did our part to keep our community clean and beautiful! 🌿✨
