💙💛 Wildcats Showing Gratitude! 🐾

Mrs. Herring’s WIN (What I Need) class took time to show their appreciation for some very special members of our community—our first responders! 🚒🚓🚑

Students created and presented heartfelt thank-you cards to recognize our first responders for their dedication, courage, and service to our community. This meaningful project was also led by USM student teacher Maci Flynn, who helped our Wildcats put gratitude into action.

We are proud to see our students learning that leadership is about more than what happens in the classroom—it’s also about kindness, appreciation, and serving others.

Thank you to our first responders for all you do! 💙

📚💙💛 WIN TIME = WHAT I NEED! 💛💙📚

Our Wildcats are making every minute count during CES WIN Time—“What I Need” Time! 🐾

During WIN Time, students receive focused learning opportunities designed to meet them where they are and help them continue to grow.

In Maggie Morgan’s third-grade group, students have been reading The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies. Today, they began creating a story mountain, working together to identify and organize the important elements of the story. They enjoyed laying the foundation and are excited to finish their work!

This is what WIN Time is all about—meeting students’ individual learning needs while building skills, confidence, and a love of learning! 🌟

The Mr and Miss Columbia Schools pageant will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026 at 6:30 PM. Students who attend Columbia Primary School, Columbia Elementary School, and Jefferson Middle School are eligible to participate.
