A celebration of Kentucky culture and place will highlight this year's exhibition schedule at Lindsey Wilson University's Lucretia C. Begley Art Gallery.

Less than a week after the Lindsey Wilson University community officially bid adieu to the last group of the Class of 2026, it will formally welcome members of the Class of 2030 to campus.

Lindsey Wilson's Welcome Week will be held Aug. 21-28, getting underway six days after the university's inaugural summer commencement was held on Aug. 15.

Lindsey Wilson awarded 292 degrees at its 124th commencement ceremony, held Saturday in Biggers Sports Center -- 37 bachelor of arts degrees, 251 master's degrees and four doctorate degrees.

The 292 degrees awarded at the university's inaugural summer commencement on Saturday afternoon raised the total number of graduates during 2025-26 to 1,741 -- the largest class in the school's 123-year history. LWU's previous largest class of graduates was 1,733 in 2024-25.
