Sarah Muegge, BSN ’75, MS(N) ’08, was named Alumna of the Year this spring at our Annual Awards Banquet. Through decades of leadership in nursing education and quality improvement, Muegge has strengthened patient care across the state of Missouri.

Rebecca McClanahan, MS(N) ’82, was recognized with the Citation of Merit Award this spring at our Annual Awards Banquet. A dedicated nurse educator, former state legislator and longtime leader in the Missouri Nurses Association, McClanahan has spent decades advancing the nursing profession.

An assistant professor at Rush University and the Kellogg Endowed Faculty Scholar, Dr. Emezue is nationally recognized for his research on interpersonal violence, mental health and family well-being.

Lori Penner Young, BSN '85, was named Humanitarian of the Year this spring at our Annual Awards Banquet. Serving as medical director and volunteer medical coordinator for Project HOPE, Young gives hands-on care to underserved communities in Nicaragua and Haiti while teaching about community health.
