Today is the LAST DAY that the books will be available in Townsend Lobby! The books that are remaining are now free but we are still accepting donations for the Voluntary Action Center! Thanks for everything, hope everyone found some great books this year!

Come check out the MMSRA book sale in Townsend lobby every day this week from 8am-5pm! Hardcover books are 50 cents, softcover books are 25 cents, and we have plenty of other interesting teacher materials to check out as well! All proceeds benefit the Voluntary Action Voluntary Action Center!

The Mid Missouri Student Reading Association (MMSRA) is collecting books. In April we will hold a book sale to help future teachers build their classroom libraries at reasonable prices. All of the money from the sale will be donated to the Voluntary Action Center. Please help us in our efforts to support future teachers and our local community!

Don’t forget we have a meeting TONIGHT in Townsend 105 at 6pm! We will be planning our book sale so it’s super important that everybody come! In light of that we’re having food brought in!

Hello Everyone,

Our November meeting is this Tuesday in Townsend 107 from 7:30 to 8:30. Kassidy Miller will be joining us to talk about multicultural children’s fairytales, and how you can use them in the classroom, followed by an open discussion of multicultural fairytales. It promises to be an interesting evening, so please do try to come!
