As we prepare to celebrate more graduates across South University this week and weekend, we're inspired by stories like that of 2025 graduate LeVar E. Curry. πͺ
After facing setbacks while trying to enroll elsewhere, LeVar didn't give up. Encouraged by a fellow military service member, he connected with South University, brought in his paperwork, and soon began his journey toward earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from South University, Columbia.
LeVar's experience as a military recruiter not only helped him serve others, but also helped him earn credit toward his degree and continue building his future.ποΈ
His story is a reminder that the path to graduation isn't always a straight line. Sometimes it includes obstacles, detours, and moments that test your perseverance. But when opportunity meets determination, incredible things can happen.
To our graduates preparing to cross the stage in the coming days: your hard work, resilience, and commitment have brought you to this moment. We can't wait to celebrate all you've accomplished and all that lies ahead.
π Congratulations, LeVar, and congratulations to the South University Class of 2026. Your next chapter starts now!

βοΈ If someone you love needed CPR right now to save their life, would you know what to do βοΈ
β€οΈ This week is National CPR & AED Awareness Week, and it's a powerful reminder that knowing what to do in an emergency can save a life.
Did you know that approximately 70% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen at home? That means if you're ever called upon to perform CPR, it will most likely be for someone you know and love - a parent, spouse, child, family member, friend, or neighbor.
At South University, many of our students, alumni, faculty, and healthcare professionals are trained in CPR and AED use because every second matters when a cardiac emergency occurs.
The truth is simple: You could be the difference between life and death for someone you care about.
π We want to hear from you!
β‘οΈ Are you CPR certified?
β‘οΈ Have you ever had to use your CPR training in a real-life situation?
β‘οΈ What advice or tips would you share with someone considering CPR certification?
Drop your experiences, encouragement, or favorite CPR tips in the comments below. Your story could inspire someone to learn a skill that saves a life. β€οΈ
