Battle for the Texas Hospital 2026 has been canceled per the Park Manager.

* Donations will be accepted for the benefit of Scotty and Tammy Myers of our reenactment family.

* Period dress is requested.
* Parking is in the back of the house in the soldier camp parking area.
* Anyone arriving after 6:30 MUST park across the road. Transportation up to the dance will be provided.
* Water, lemonade and light dessert snacks will be provided.

Camp Moore 2024

Love and compassion from OCR, UDC, SCV Camps, Camp Moore, friends, individuals, and organizations led to successful donations delivered to Morristown, Tennessee. SCV Headquarters and the General Longstreet Museum assisted in accepting the relief items at the Tennessee Baptist Missions. I thank everyone involved for their dedication. It was an honor to work together. God has blessed those in need through us.

Loaded and ready to roll early am with relief supplies gathered from OCR, SCV Camps, Camp Moore, and friend’s of Camp Moore. Great job to all ladies and gentlemen involved with the donations from Mississippi and Louisiana, those who receive these supplies I’m sure share the same feelings toward this effort.

Just a quick update on the relief effort for everyone. First load from Camp Moore is at headquarters and I will be going for the rest tomorrow. Donations arrived at Hq today from various individuals and organizations. A big shout out to everyone that has donated and helped thus far. Once all donations are into Hq I will post pics and a list of those items as well as a thank you list to all involved with this project. God bless everyone.
