Verbal Beginnings is a family-focused network of professionals providing exceptional comprehensive autism services to families across the MD, PA, DE, DC and NoVA region. A team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts develop individualized treatment programs to teach and increase communication, feeding, appropriate behavior, social skills, and adaptive living skills. Our team approach ensures that the most progressive techniques are used to meet each child's individual needs. Services include early intervention, feeding therapy, social skills development, diagnostics, after school and summer programs, in-home and center services, Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy and more. As an ACQ and BHCOE-accredited provider of ABA Therapy, VB is committed to changing lives one child at a time.

🎃 Trunk or Treat is almost here!

Grab your favorite costume and join us on Saturday, October 17th from 11am to 2pm for a morning of treats and fall fun. Our team is decorating car trunks with lots of spooky spirit, and we can't wait to see your little ones in their Halloween best.

This event is sensory-friendly and open to all families. Come trick-or-treat at your own pace, meet our team, and enjoy the day with your community. This event is completely free, but registration is required. 👻

What a great day at the Autism Society of Maryland 5K! 🏃‍♀️💙

We were proud to sponsor this year's race and cheer on everyone who came out to support the autism community. Our table stayed busy all day with families stopping by to chat and grab some goodies.

A big thank you to the VB team members who gave up part of their weekend to be there. You made our table so much fun!

Mark your calendars! Verbal Beginnings is bringing back our Sensory Friendly Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 17th from 11am–2pm. Find us at our Columbia center on Samuel Morse Drive.

This is a Halloween event made just for your family. There will be games, candy, a trunk decorating contest, and a moon bounce to keep the fun going. A few extra surprises are on the way too!

Halloween is almost here, and for some kids, the costume is the hardest part of the night 🎃

Scratchy fabric, tight elastic, and masks can turn excitement into stress. The good news is that a great costume doesn't have to be store-bought or fancy. It just has to feel good for your child.
