“The moment I stepped foot in Kappa during recruitment, I knew I was home. Looking back, it’s crazy to think how one decision could shape my college experience in so many ways. One of my favorite memories will always be running home to my sister on Bid Day, and being welcomed with open arms. Kappa has brought me not only amazing memories, but best friends who have become family. Kappa is truly my second home and the most genuine place I know. The more I fell in love with Kappa, the more I wanted to get involved and represent the chapter that I am so proud to be a part of. Serving as Vice President of External Affairs has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college career. I feel so fortunate to lead such an incredible group of women in the External Department. Their passion, creativity, and dedication are constantly shaping our chapter for the better, and it has been so special watching their ideas come to life. I am also incredibly grateful to serve alongside such an amazing Executive Board, whose leadership and dedication inspire me every day. Kappa has given me endless friendships, opportunities, and memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life, and l am so grateful for the opportunity to serve a chapter that has shaped me into the person I am today. “It has been almost three years since I chose Kappa. When I first walked in I could feel how genuine every girl was. As I am stepping into my senior year I can confidently say it was the best decision I’ve made. It was my dream to serve on the executive board. I am so grateful I get the opportunity to serve as Vice President of Operations where I ensure communication and organization within our chapter and leadership team. I get to use my academic strengths and passion all in one. I love every aspect of VPO, even down to chapter on Sundays. I work alongside the most hardworking and dedicated women on the executive and cabinet board. Especially my outstanding operations team. Ava, Hadley, and Mia. Outside of VPO, kappa has given me my best friends and endless amounts of opportunities. Our members at EK are filled with driven, funny, and talented young women.
