Week 3, we are so excited to see you! We cannot wait to see what this week has in store as you learn how to Paint Your Purpose!

Your ag teachers are busy this summer!

What are Missouri ag teachers up to this summer? Lots of things! FFA Camp, WLC, SAE visits, and professional development, just to name a few.

During the month of June, there are many Summer Technical Institutes across the state that ag teachers can attend to learn more so they can be better teachers for their students. From welding to plant propagation and painting, there is something for everyone!

Ten teachers recently attended Jason King’s “Painting for the Fine Arts” institute, where they learned floral painting techniques and equipment needed so teachers can offer their Floriculture/Horticulture class as a fine art credit.

Thanks to Mo Professional Development Specialist Heather Eberlin for organizing these workshops and to all the teachers and others for sharing their knowledge.

Getting to meet all the unique members at Public Speaking Academy was an amazing experience. Hearing all the speeches quickly come together in such a short time and seeing the members delivery improve with the feedback they received was the most impressive part. Thank you to all the members who attended and everyone who helped put the event together.

How is camp week one already over?!? Members from all across the state of Missouri showed up to learn new leadership qualities, meet new people, and have a ton of fun! We can’t wait to see how you paint your purpose in this next year of your FFA journey!

What an incredible night at the Liberal FFA Banquet! From honoring member accomplishments to recognizing degree recipients and installing the next chapter officer team, it was inspiring to see the impact FFA continues to make.
