One exceptional international teacher can do far more than fill a vacancy.
Meet Stephen Yeboah, a mathematics educator from Ghana who is beginning his fourth year at Lancaster High School.
Stephen has helped students develop confidence and succeed in Algebra I, but his contribution does not stop when class ends. During his time in Lancaster, he has served as an instructional team leader, coached girls’ JV soccer, mentored fellow international educators, participated in school initiatives, and introduced students to Ghanaian traditions, clothing, music, food, and everyday life.
Stephen’s story demonstrates the real value of international education: qualified teachers who become leaders, mentors, coaches, cultural ambassadors, and committed members of their school communities.
He also describes PACT as a dependable source of guidance and support, giving him the confidence to stay focused on teaching and helping his students.
School and district leaders: If you are exploring international teacher partnerships and want a responsive sponsor supporting both your schools and your educators, we would welcome the conversation.
Qualified international educators: PACT is now accepting applications for the 2027–2028 school year.
