HSE FFA takes on District XIII FFA state fair set up day!

Our members spent the day helping set up the FFA pavilion at the state fair along side other members from district 13 ⭐️

As we launch our brand-new Veterinary Science program at HSE, we’re looking for stuffed dogs and cats to help our students gain hands-on experience practicing veterinary skills!

We’re accepting:
🐶 Stuffed dogs
🐱 Stuffed cats
❤️ Any size or breed
✨ New or gently used

These stuffed animals will be used throughout the school year as students learn bandaging, physical exams, injections, restraint techniques, and other veterinary procedures.

If you’d like to donate, items can be dropped off in Mrs. Mills’ room (A128) or the front office with a note for the ag department!

Mrs. Mills also included some options on here Amazon list if you want to support but don't have any around the house that need a new home.

Former HSE FFA President making an impact for Indiana Agriculture!

Employee Spotlight: Megan Bixler

As ISDA's International Trade Director, Megan is focused on helping companies and agricultural producers explore opportunities for exporting their products around the world.

This week, Megan presented at the Indiana Livestock Summit where she gave an overview of the current economic landscape impacting U.S. agriculture and Indiana producers. She also discussed trends in global demand, export opportunities, competitiveness, and the broader outlook for grain and livestock in the global marketplace.

Randi advances! Awesome job 👏

We are proud to recognize the Top 10 Agricultural Education Lesson Plan competitors!

Earlier this month, these individuals submitted lesson plans that demonstrated creativity, innovation, and a passion for agricultural education. After careful evaluation, they have advanced as the top 10 competitors.

These members will now present their lessons in front of a mock classroom, with final placings announced at the 97th Indiana FFA State Convention. Congratulations to each of these outstanding individuals!
