✨ A few highlights this week:
🏐 A Bright New Addition to CFS Athletics!
Our brand-new light-up scorer’s table made its debut at our first home volleyball game! We’re so thankful for the generous donors and athletic banner sponsors who helped make it possible.

🛡️ Investing in Our Athletes
CFS athletes participated in KAMS movement screenings with Focus on Health, giving them valuable baseline information to help identify movement concerns, track progress, and support injury prevention.

🇺🇸 Labor Day Reminder
There will be NO SCHOOL Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend, CFS families!

❤️🖤 NO SCHOOL MONDAY — LABOR DAY! 🇺🇸
Just a reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

We hope all of our CFS families enjoy the long weekend and some extra time together! ☀️

We’ll see our Knights back at school on Tuesday, September 8! ❤️🖤⚔️

🛡️❤️🖤 Protecting Our Knights!

Tonight, many of our CFS athletes participated in an KAMS Movement Screening provided by Focus On Health Chiropractic!

Through 12 simple movements, athletes received a baseline assessment designed to identify things like asymmetry, mobility limitations, and movement concerns that could potentially lead to injury.

This baseline can be used to track progress throughout the season and can also provide valuable information if an athlete is working to return from an injury.

A big THANK YOU to Focus on Health Chiropractic for bringing this opportunity to CFS and investing in our student-athletes! ❤️🖤⚔️

🍊🧡 ORANGE YOU GLAD WE MADE IT?! 🧡🍊
Our CFS PTF kicked off the first Teacher & Staff Appreciation treat of the year with an entire table full of ORANGE goodies to celebrate making it through the first full week of school! 🎉

Sweet treats, salty snacks, drinks, and plenty of orange-colored fun were waiting to help our teachers and staff power through today! 🍊

We’re so thankful for the incredible teachers and staff who have jumped right back in and are already pouring so much into our students.

We may be a little PEEL-y about the puns… but we really do think our CFS teachers and staff are simply the ZEST! 🍊😂❤️🖤

☕🍩 NEW CFS PARENTS — JOIN US FOR BREAKFAST! ❤️🖤
Are you new to the CFS family this year? We would love to spend the morning with you!

Join us for our CFS New Parents Breakfast & PTF Informational Meeting on Friday, August 28 from 8:15–9:45 AM in the back of the cafeteria.

This is a great opportunity to meet some of our CFS staff and administration, ask questions, get more information about the school, and connect with other new CFS parents. We’ll also share a little about our Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) and the different ways parents can get involved and be part of the CFS community throughout the year.

As we begin a new school year at CFS, our prayer is that everything we do would be done wholeheartedly and for the Lord.

Lord, give our students enthusiasm as they learn, courage as they try new things, and kindness in the way they treat others. Give our teachers and staff strength, patience, and joy as they serve each day.

Help us remember that even the ordinary things—schoolwork, conversations, practices, friendships, and responsibilities—are opportunities to honor You.

May we approach this year with willing hearts, giving our best in all that we do—not for recognition, but for Your glory. 🙏
