Today, our little learners at Upward Learning Center Preschool and Kindergarten enjoyed an unforgettable adventure as members of the Richland County Sheriff's Department visited our campus to teach valuable lessons about staying safe in our homes, schools, and communities.

With wide eyes and curious hearts, our students listened, learned, asked questions, and discovered how deputies work each day to protect and serve.

Families were also blessed with the opportunity to have their children's fingerprints completed for personal safety records, providing an extra layer of peace of mind for parents and guardians.

The highlight of the day? Meeting a giant 9-foot deputy who brought laughter, excitement, and countless smiles to our classrooms! From joyful conversations to memorable photo opportunities, our children were reminded that community helpers are friends who care about their well-being.

At Upward Learning Center, we believe every lesson is an opportunity to grow, and today our young scholars learned that safety, kindness, and community go hand in hand. Thank you to the Richland County Sheriff's Department for investing in the hearts and minds of our future leaders! 💙⭐👮‍♂️
