What a joyful way to celebrate another wonderful year of Bradley Lunch Buddies!

Eastminster volunteers gathered with our friends at Bradley Elementary for an end-of-school-year celebration full of laughter, gratitude, and plenty of playground fun. Through Bradley Lunch Buddies, volunteers spend time reading with students, sharing lunch, offering encouragement, and serving as caring adult role models throughout the school year.

Thank you to every volunteer who helped make this ministry possible. Your presence, prayers, and faithful commitment continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Bradley students. We are grateful for this special partnership and already looking forward to another great year together!

The Rotary Club of Forest Acres donated 156 books to Bradley this week, and we are buzzing with excitement 🐝! Thanks to their generosity, our students will now have even more books to enjoy through our birthday book vending machine. We are so thankful for community partners like the Forest Acres Rotary Club who help us inspire a lifelong love of reading in our students.

"H is for Harlem" by Dinah Johnson was brought to life through an engaging read-aloud at Richland Library, accompanied by the live jazz sounds of ColaJazz. It was an unforgettable experience for our Bradley students! Over four weeks, classes visited the library thanks to a generous gift from Frank Baker in memory of his brother John Baker. Each child received an autographed copy of the book, explored the Children’s Room, and enjoyed an indoor picnic lunch together. We are so grateful for this opportunity to celebrate literacy, music, and community!
