Columbia College plans to welcome students back on the Columbia, Missouri campus for the Fall Semester for in-seat classes, President Scott Dalrymple announced today.

Details for in-seat classes at the college’s nationwide locations around the country will be determined on a location-by-location basis, but in-seat instruction is scheduled to begin on August 31 as well. Additional information will be posted at ccis.edu/covid-19 during the upcoming months.

“We are committed to offering our students the excellent in-seat, residential experience we always have,” said Dalrymple. “We are hopeful that all will go smoothly, but as we’ve seen, things can change quickly. Our faculty members are ready to shift to fully virtual instruction should that be required for the health and safety of our campus community.”

Columbia College to resume on-campus classes starting Aug. 31; Transition to virtual classes following Thanksgiving break - CC Connected Columbia College plans to welcome students back on campus for the Fall Semester for in-seat classes, President Scott Dalrymple announced today. Social distancing, wearing of masks, deep cleaning and several other measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will be implemented.

Today we reflect on history made. We offer thanks to our service members past, present and future. Our gratitude extends to their families, but above all, to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

The real estate specific certificates offered by Columbia College are full programs, meaning they are more robust than a 1 or 2 day weekend course at a local venue.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day. Celebrate with who you can in the way you can.

Some ideas if you are social distancing:

• Record and send a message
• Have a favorite meal delivered
• Throw a surprise parade with other family members
• Decorate the outside of her home

If you are able to be together:
• Treat her to a homemade brunch
• Watch a movie together
• Play her favorite game with her

You may not be able to reach out and "touch" your mom this weekend, but you can at least touch her heart! Tell us what special plans you have for your mom (or wife, grandma, daughter, sister....) this weekend!
