Did you know that one oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water a day? Oysters are essential to their marine ecosystems, so the Conservation and Stewardship team joined the Nature Conservancy to build homes for them! Follow along to learn more about their day well spent along the coast🦪🌊

Last week, we hosted our second annual Student Sustainability Summit 🌏♻️

This mini conference brought together USC students from every year and major to learn from their peers, participate in hands-on workshops, engage in critical discussions, and give back through community service initiatives.

Our goal? To inspire climate action in everyday life — and the impact speaks for itself:
✨ 98.2% made a new connection
🌱 94.4% feel more prepared to take climate action
💚 100% are glad they attended

From freshmen to doctoral students, this summit continues to be a vital part of the climate conversation at USC and across the Midlands. The future is collaborative — and it starts here.
