At La Petite École, learning is truly individualized. Each child progresses at their own pace, guided by curiosity and confidence.
This kindergarten student (just 5½ years old!) has already completed both the Kindergarten and Grade 1 English math curriculum. An incredible example of what can happen when students are supported, challenged, and allowed to grow in their own time.
We are so proud of this achievement and inspired every day by our students’ potential!

A huge thank you to Sharon and Don Ginsburg for opening their beautiful garden to our Early Elementary (Paris) students!
Through thoughtful questions and hands-on exploration, they guided our students in discovering how organic fruits and vegetables grow—building on what the children already knew and inspiring even more curiosity. The engagement and questions from our students were wonderful to see!
Experiences like this bring learning to life in the most meaningful way. Merci, Sharon and Don, for sharing your time, knowledge, and passion with us!

Little hands, big achievements! Our toddlers are diving into the world of early handwriting by practicing their “special” letter, their own initial. With gentle guidance from our teachers and lots of encouragement, every scribble and line becomes a step toward confident writing. We couldn’t be prouder of our littles as they celebrate each tiny success!

We loved welcoming families for Parents’ Day, where the morning began with a fun and friendly trivia game about French and francophone countries, led by our Upper Elementary students, who proudly served as our LPE Ambassadors. Their leadership and enthusiasm set the tone for a wonderful morning together.
Afterward, parents joined their children in the classrooms to observe firsthand the many benefits of language immersion, from morning meetings and circle time to the independence and focus of our Montessori work cycle.
Thank you to our families for being part of this special day and for supporting the vibrant learning community that makes LPE so unique! 💙🤍❤️

Small Hands, Big Hearts: Learning to Give, Receive, and Say Thank You
Some of the most meaningful learning at La Petite École happens in simple, everyday moments — offering help to a classmate, waiting patiently for a turn, accepting guidance from a teacher, or expressing appreciation with a sincere “thank you.”
Learning to give and receive is a foundational social skill at every age.
When a child waits for a turn, they are developing self-regulation.
When they offer support to a peer, they are practicing empathy.
When they say “thank you,” they are building awareness and gratitude.
Gratitude is more than polite words. It is understanding that we are part of a community — that others contribute to our growth, happiness, and success. These daily practices shape confident learners who value cooperation, respect, and kindness.
By nurturing our students’ ability to give, receive, and express appreciation, we are shaping not just strong students — but thoughtful, compassionate humans.
