Adding a new chapter to our history, Columbia Academy added the Spring Hill satellite campus for elementary grades in 2010, which provides the same educational experience parents have come to expect from CA. eption 1979, Columbia Academy has been providing a challenging, yet Christ-centered college preparatory education for students from pre-school to 12th grade. Although many private and public schools also offer a rewarding education, we believe that the difference at CA lies in its people. Our dedicated faculty and staff are made up of highly qualified, Christian men and women who love children and give many extra hours to provide them with the instruction and guidance they need. Our families are involved and active in our school programs and in the lives of their children providing a presence that is essential to forming young men and women of character and discipline. Our students are many things - unique, confident, artistic, athletic, generous, kind, driven, creative, intelligent and resourceful. It is a blessing to watch them grow physically, intellectually and spiritually every day. Columbia Academy has been accredited by AdvancED (formerly SACS) since 1979. Close to 950 students are enrolled at Columbia Academy from PreK-12th grade.

Do you know a Columbia Academy alumnus who deserves special recognition?

Nominate an alumnus to receive the Alumnus of the Year award by submitting a name and a brief description to Jill Jones by Friday, August 28th.

The Columbia Academy Alumnus of the Year is someone respected and successful in all walks of life. With a strong love for God and Columbia Academy, this person is valued in his/her community and profession, demonstrating daily his/her faith in God and love for family and community. This person represents Columbia Academy well by demonstrating values consistent with its mission.

The 2026 Columbia Academy Alumnus of the Year will be announced during halftime activities of the Homecoming Game on Friday, September 25.
