This spring, generous donors like you helped two of our teachers begin their Montessori certification. You could see the impact in our classrooms almost immediately.

This fall, we're hoping to keep that momentum going. We'd like to send our group of lead teachers to the annual Montessori conference in St. Louis this October AND to bring in-house training to the rest of our team here in Columbia.

Our goal: $4,000 to cover conference costs for our lead teacher team and training for everyone else.

This past week, our teachers and staff rolled up their sleeves for a full school reset!

🧹 We deep-cleaned our classrooms and common spaces, spruced up the environment inside and out, and put out new work for our students to explore.

🌱 A big thank you to the community volunteers who lent a hand as well. And those that provided meals and snacks. We couldn't have done it without you!

We're so excited for our students to experience a refreshed, inviting space ready for learning and discovery.

We're hiring! Columbia Montessori School is looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to join our Toddler and Pre-Primary classrooms. If you are patient, dependable, and love working with young children, we'd love to hear from you. We also have a need for substitute teachers. Today is the day! The 23rd Annual CMS Trivia Night & Auction is happening tonight at Bur Oak Brewing Company and we cannot wait.

Can't join us in person? You can still be part of the fun. The silent auction is open online and anyone can bid from anywhere. Bidding closes at 8:30 PM tonight. That's an hour later than we previously posted.
