Welcome back, Bulldogs! We can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

Here are a few important reminders:

📓Students may enter the building at 7:50 AM.
👋 Families are welcome to walk their child(ren) to class on the first day of school. Please park in the main parking lot (not the bus lot) or on the gravel road beside the school.
📝 All visitors will need to sign in at the front lobby before proceeding to classrooms.
🥞 Free breakfast will be available for all students in the cafeteria. Students will pick up their breakfast before going to their classroom.
⏰ We kindly ask that all parents exit the building by 8:05 AM, when the tardy bell rings, so we can begin our school day!
🚌 Dismissal is at 3:05 PM. To help ensure dismissal goes as smoothly as possible, be sure to discuss your child’s transportation method with them.
🚙 If you plan to pick up your child in the car line, please have your car placard displayed. To ensure the safety of our students, if no placard is displayed, you will be asked to show ID. If you did not receive a car placard, please email Mrs. Halsey at [email protected] or call the front office (252-796-3881).

Thank you to all of the families and community members who joined us for Open House! We loved seeing so many familiar faces, welcoming new families, and giving everyone a chance to meet their child’s teacher, our new principal, and some of our amazing community partners.

Hello, TES families! This is Mrs. Tyler, your new principal. Our staff is excited and working hard to prepare for an amazing school year! We are ready to welcome our Bulldogs on August 24.
This year’s theme is “Destination Growth...Cleared for Takeoff! Landing Every Bulldog at Success!” We are committed to helping every Bulldog grow, learn, and succeed.
Before we take off, please join us for Open House on Wednesday, August 20, from 5:30–7:30 PM. Come meet your child’s teacher, visit the classroom, and get ready for a great year!

The runway is ready, the crew is assembled, and we’re cleared for an incredible year! Yesterday our staff came together for our opening meeting as we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year! We covered important topics, shared ideas, aligned our goals, and focused on what matters most — creating a positive, supportive, and successful school experience for every student.

With our course charted and our crew ready, we’re setting our sights on one destination: excellence! ❤️🐾
