Congratulations to Stephanie Schaller, associate professor, on receiving the University of South Carolina Center for Teaching Excellence Garnet Apple Award for Teaching Innovation. 🍎

Schaller developed Study Navigator, an AI-powered tool that helps nursing students connect textbook learning to clinical application. Her innovation is helping prepare the next generation of nurses for practice.

Through a partnership between the College of Nursing's SAEL Center and Arnold School of Public Health at South Carolina’s Aphasia Lab, nursing students work with standardized patients living with aphasia to strengthen the communication skills essential for compassionate, patient-centered care.
