Hey Outgrads! Welcome back to the spring semester! Is anyone interested in having a meet up? We havent been very active this year but we are happy to plan a meet up if there is enough interest!

Hey Outgrads!
We hope you are having a great summer! The current leaders of Outgrads (Seokman & Sarah) will be extremely busy next year and we are looking to find people who are interested in taking over as Outgrads' president, vice president, or treasurer, beginning this semester and continuing for the full academic year. If we don't find people to fill the official positions, we will continue to host a few casual events this year but we will no longer be recognized as an official student group (which means we lose access to university resources, funding, etc.).

If you are interested in filling any of these positions, please send us a direct message letting us know and describing any leadership experience with student groups on campus (it's also fine if you don't have any).

We will be having a meet up during the Pride Festival so stay tuned for more info.

We hope you'll join us tomorrow for trivia at Craft Beer Cellar. It begins at 7 (usually lasts until 9-9:30). It's not too late to join, so please just let me know if you plan on coming by sending us a message.

We'll get there around 6:30 to find a table, ideally somewhere towards the left of the entrance. Sarah will wear a rainbow pride shirt so that it makes it easier for the new people to find us.

Hey OutGrads, it turns out next Saturday works better for more people, so we've decided to do the event next Saturday (Oct 1). We will let you know the details about the event during next week.

For our next social event, we are thinking about going to the drag show at Yin and Yang Night Club. They have their usual show on Thursdays and Saturdays, but I suspect Saturdays are better for most of us. So how does this Saturday work? Hello, OutGrads!

The Center Project, the Mid-Missouri LGBT organization, is asking us for some volunteers to run a concession booth at Farout Field for MU football games this fall. (The organization will receive up to 12% of the profits from each game!) I was told that each volunteer is required to stay for 7-8 hours, starting 3-4 hours before kickoff. Hello New and Returning Outgrads! We hope you are all having a good start to your semester!

This Saturday is Columbia's Pride Festival beginning at 1 at Rose Music Hall. We're going to have a casual meet up here for Outgrads members who are attending. We plan to meet at 3pm near the bar in Rose Music Hall and then hang out around the event.

Also, later that night we plan to go to Yin Yang Club, so if you cant make it to the Pride Fesitval but would like to meet up at Yin Yang, message us so we can plan where to meet you.

Also, we hope you can join us NEXT FRIDAY, SEPT. 2nd from 5-7pm at the Heidelberg for our first event this semester! We'll be providing free appetizers. All LGBTQ and ally graduate and professional students are welcome to attend! You'll be able to find us via the rainbow flag on the table.
