Due to a bomb threat at East Marion School, students are currently being transported to the Expo Center located at 150 Industrial Park Road. The entire school, including all students and personnel, has been evacuated. The sheriff's department is investigating and a trained K-9 is checking the campus. All students are safe, and you may pick them up at the Expo Center. We will update the public as more information is made available.

New HVAC units have arrived and are starting to be installed. Under ESSER funds (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief) and allowable projects, the MCSD will be installing new HVAC units that will improve the air quality in our schools. This will be an ongoing project across the district.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The MCSD has been awarded an ESSER II/ARP ESSER grant through MDE for two years (FY 23 and FY 24) in the amount of $128,000. These funds will provide the salary and supplies for one of our nurses.
