🐓 The University of South Carolina is full of traditions and quirks, but not all of them are obvious to those outside of the Gamecock community. 🐓
Alumni and current students, what’s important for our incoming students to know? We want to make sure they’re ready to be Gamecocks when they arrive.

Two of our second-year students, Carmen and Justice, were able to meet and talk with the CHRO of , Patrick McLaughlin! Don’t be fooled, this isn’t just a photo op.
In our program, students get to hear from and speak with executive leaders on a weekly basis. Not only that, but our interns engage and work with HR leaders at their companies all summer long.
To all our interns out there, how have your summer work experiences been so far? 🔎

🎉 Time to celebrate our students! 🎉
These four teams have successfully completed their Staffing, Compensation, Learning & Development, and Accounting projects. Let’s show them love for all they’ve accomplished! 👏
P.s. If you’re sitting there and wondering, “Why is the first group in suits but also not? 🤔” Their L&D project proposal was for employees who work from home—i.e business on the top, comfort on the bottom.
Much love to and who could not be tagged because of Insta’s limit. ❤️

If you’ve gotten the pleasure of meeting with an MHR student ambassador, then you’ve indirectly met this star!
Introducing Rianna Gaddy, a current first-year student. Rianna attended where she studied International Business and HR Management with a minor in Japanese. She was also involved in the Black Business Students Association and the Japanese Culture Association. As mentioned above, Rianna coordinates the Student Ambassadors for the MHR program.
This summer, Rianna will be joining in the Chicago area. She’s looking forward to building hands-on experience and applying what she’s learned in the classroom into the workplace.
