Physical activity outdoors (Our fenced playground includes a playhouse, slide, sandbox, tricycles, and a large assortment of toys.) We believe strongly that children and parents both benefit greatly when parents are able to take an active role in their children’s education. Each class is attended by a cooping parent who serves as a teaching assistant. Parents also have the opportunity to serve on committees, attend school meetings, participate in fundraising activities, and share housekeeping responsibilities, all of which strengthen our programs and our community. Longfellow Nursery School offers a rolling enrollment when spaces are available. If you are interested in enrolling your child, please contact our Vice President of Enrollment at [email protected]. If you are interested in observing a class, we offer observations of the 2 year old, 3 year old, and 4 year old classes during the school year from September through the beginning of May.
