🌟 Lend & Learn will be closed May 25-29 for "Glow Up" renovations. Both indoor and outdoor play areas will be closed while we make some exciting changes, thanks to the generous support of Veterans United Foundation and VU employee volunteers. 🥳 Celebrate 20 years of FC4C with a birthday party all week long! Drop in next Tuesday, May 19 through Friday, May 22 from 9am-1pm at Lend & Learn (1002 Fay St, Columbia) for free & fun messy play activities & crafts for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Plus, special snacks, free children’s book, and creative projects to make & take home each day:
Tuesday- Garden stepping stones
Wednesday- Painted wind twirlers
Thursday- Coffee filter butterflies
Friday- Painted rocks

Lend & Learn will be closed on Friday while our staff attend the 2026 Boone County Home Visitors Community Summit to learn and connect with other community partners. Then, get ready for messy birthday-themed fun during Celebrate Play Week next Tuesday-Friday!

🚧 Workers are busy installing new anchor poles for sun shades over the playground, so our playground will be closed until the work is finished. Check back for updates!

🌮 Yummy food, sensory play, crafts & fun with friends are on the menu for Taco Tuesday! Join us to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Tuesday, May 5 from 11am-1pm at Lend & Learn (1002 Fay St, Columbia). Free family event with tacos for lunch (beef, chicken & black beans + toppings) & activities for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Play time is open 9am-1pm.
