While many things have changed over 20 years, giving young children & their families a safe & supportive space to play, learn, connect & grow has remained steadfast. We invite everyone in our community to our Open House at 1002 Fay St, Columbia on Monday, September 14 from 8:30-10:30am for a celebration of our past, present & future at First Chance for Children!

🌼 Play time is back on Fridays from 9am-1pm at Lend & Learn! And to celebrate, we’ll have special Fall Friday activities every Friday morning in September! On this first Friday 9/4, come harvest gourds, flowers & herbs growing on our playground, taste fruits, and read harvest stories. 🌽

NEW WEEKLY HOURS! Starting this week, our weekly play hours are extending back to Tuesday through Friday from 9am-1pm. 🍁Plus, every Friday morning in September, we will set up fall nature play, crafts, & sensory activities on the playground during play time.

🏁 September is an epic month for us! Buckle up for our 20th Birthday Bash on September 16 at Logboat—it’s a party, a fundraiser, and FC4C family reunion all in one, and our wish is that ALL our past & present participants come to celebrate! 🎉 There will be activities & events all week for National Diaper Need Awareness Week including an Open House, Diaper Drive Thru & Drop Off, and a Diaper Wrapping Marathon. Our weekly play hours are extending back to Tuesday through Friday from 9am-1pm. And we’ll set up fall nature play, crafts, & sensory activities on the playground on Friday mornings.🍁

🚸 It may still be a few years before our 2-year-olds start school, but their learning at this age is PEAK. What’s our best tip for helping a child prepare for school? PLAY!!! Bring your 2 & 3’s for our last COUNTDOWN to K on Tuesday, Aug 25 from 11am-12pm at Lend & Learn (1002 Fay St, Columbia) to meet new friends, play, eat a snack, read books, and enjoy letter learning activities!
