The University of South Carolina is proud to host the SEC Food Pantries & Basic Needs Summit, bringing together student leaders, professional staff, and community partners from across the SEC to share ideas, build connections, and strengthen support for students experiencing basic needs insecurity.

The Gamecock Community Shop is seeking summer volunteers to help us continue providing essential resources to Gamecocks all season long. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back this summer, we’d love to have you on our team!

📦 Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesdays & Thursdays from 12–4 PM.

🛍️ The Shop will be open Wednesdays & Thursdays from 12–4 PM through August 27, so stop by, say hello, and pick up any essentials you may need.

What an incredible year it’s been. Because of our amazing volunteers, generous donors, and wonderful clients, this community continues to grow, support, and uplift one another in the best ways.

Every hour, every donation, and every visit made a real impact, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

We’re so proud of what we’ve built together, and if this year is any sign, next year is going to be even bigger and better ❤️

Give It Up For Good coming into the CommUnity Shop 💪 strong! Thank you Terrance for bringing us truckloads of small furniture pieces and thank you to the “women who get stuff done” even SOS calls and everyone who sorted, organized, inventoried, and checked out clients. We served 176 clients in 4 hours! We couldn’t have done it without you!
