Hi everyone! I have been getting a lot of clicks and phone calls in the last month and I wanted to let everyone know I will not be in California this summer. I will be taking this program to Fort Collins, Colorado for the next year so any information or updates will not be from California. However, there is always a chance I return to Davis/Woodland/Sac, but it won't be for at least another year.
Hope everyone is beating the heat with some summer pool fun!

Hello everyone. I received the news that Yolo County will not be lifting the shelter in place guidelines which means I will not be having any more lessons up until my move. This saddens me that I won't get to have closure with my program and my students. I do have around 300 lollipops that I will not be taking with me and would love to see the kids one last time and bring them some lolli's. I will be sending out an email too, but let me know if I can drop some off to you and the kiddos! -Coach Michael
Hello everyone!
I hope you are all doing okay during this strange time. It has been a week since I have been without a pool and I think this is the longest I have gone without being in or around a body of water in about 5 years. Cross Courts will continue to be closed until at least April 8th, so I'm not expecting to be teaching any time before then. I'm hoping in another week we can hopefully get some good news. I will continue to keep everyone updated! Please let me know how you are all doing too. I miss the kids!

Hello everyone,
This is an interesting time we are all going through and I hope everyone is staying healthy. I want you all to know swimming in a chlorinated pool is deemed safe, but the amount of coughing and spitting that goes directly into my face makes me a bit concerned. I have to look out for my own best interests at the moment and would like to put lessons on pause for at least 2 weeks. With Cross Courts Athletic Club demographic being towards the senior age group, I want to make sure I am not a potential risk in their facility either.
I love my job and love working with your children, but I need to be ethical with my business and not show any signs of negligence. I hope you all understand my reasoning and if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Thank you and be safe.

Hi folks. Be prepared for some disruptions to our swimming. We will finish out the week and reassess after Saturday. If you have any questions or concerns , please let me know.
Good news is the Coronavirus can not survive in chlorinated water.
Coronavirus: Proper chlorination stops water transmission, HSE advises Drinking water and swimming pools rendered safe by appropriate levels of chlorine
Hi everyone. If your child is sick please let me know and we can find another time for our swimming. I will also do the same if I feel anything unusual about my health, as health comes before swimming! Be safe! - Coach Michael
Hi everyone. Thank you for all the response and interest in my last round of swim lessons in Woodland. I have received over 50 replies and with only 10 half hour spots open some of us might not get a time slot. We still have April and May(up until I move) so more times will become available. Thanks!! -Coach Michael
