As some of South Carolina’s most engaged alumni, our Board of Governors drives engagement and opportunity for nearly 300,000 living alumni. We're looking for four members to help guide us into the future — reps from SC's congressional districts 2, 3, 5 and a national at-large seat.

Eligible applicants must:
🎓 Be a graduate of the University of South Carolina–Columbia
🤙 Be a current member of the USC Alumni Association
📍 Be a permanent legal resident of the district for which they are applying (or in the case of the nat'l seat, be a non-S.C. resident)

2025 Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award winner Tom Mullikin has enjoyed a long and eclectic career. Now, the longtime environmental lawyer is managing the Palmetto State’s fish, wildlife and natural areas as director of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.
