MedPrep is a series of preparatory workshops to assist those interested in applying to medical schoo

The Mizzou MedPrep program, established in 2011, is designed to assist individuals in exploring health-care careers and assist those interested in applying to medical school with the application process. The workshops are developed for our value added groups which include: underrepresented in medicine (URM), socio-economically (SES) disadvantaged, those from rural areas, and non-traditional students.

This week, 43 undergraduate minority students are shadowing current medical students as part of Minorities in Medicine Outreach Week. The MU undergraduates get direct exposure to our curriculum, as well opportunities to connect with our faculty and students.

The week is an annual collaboration between our chapter of the Student National Medical Association and its undergraduate auxiliary, the Minority Association for Pre-Medical Students.
