Kappa Sigma: Beta-Gamma

Congratulations to the members of our previous Executive Committee, Caleb Frillman, Owen Moss, Danny Gutierrez, and Colin Ford, for earning Scholastic Excellence honors during their tenure as recognized by the Star and Crescent Educational Foundation.

We also want to recognize this year’s scholarship recipients for achieving the highest GPA in their respective classes: Joey Zerr, Garrett Glidewell, Evan Cornelius-White, and Jack Roder.

These Brothers were honored last Thursday evening and celebrated with a dinner at alongside our alumni, making for a great evening of recognition and connection.

A special thank you to alumni Greg Kornfeld, Matt Eddy, and Michael Binz for joining us. We appreciate your continued support and always enjoy hearing your stories.

Recently, our Brother Lucky Nguyen competed in his third professional MMA fight and secured a second-round TKO victory. We’re excited to see what’s next in his MMA career. Congratulations

This week we are honored to spotlight our senior Brother Aiden McKenna. From his service as Scholarship chair and much more, he has made a lasting impact on the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

We wish the best of luck to through his next chapter of life.

As Grand Treasurer, Danny has played a vital role in upholding the values of Kappa Sigma. Through his accountability and integrity, he has helped our Chapter thrive.

I’ve learned how to balance responsibility with Brotherhood, ensuring our Chapter remains financially strong while supporting everything we stand for. This role has helped shape me into a more disciplined and confident leader, and I’m thankful to be part of something bigger than myself.”

As Grand Scribe, Colin has brought leadership, organization, and commitment to this Brotherhood. Through his hard work and commitment he has made a long-lasting contribution to Kappa Sigma.

What being Grand Scribe has meant to Colin: “As Grand Scribe, you are the glue that holds everything together, and I never realized this until being in it. You learn so many valuable leadership and communication skills that I don’t think you could learn anywhere else. I’m excited to take what I learned and build upon it this next year as President.”
