It’s October! 🎃

We can’t WAIT to see you at this year’s trunk or treat! Here’s how to get involved!

Register to decorate your car and pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. All registered cars must be parked and decorated by 5:15 pm, and must remain parked until 7:15 pm. Registration link in the comments.

Attend the event from 5:30-7:00 pm, visiting the decorated trunks and collecting halloween treats. Remember to bring your own collection bag!
Costumes are encouraged, not required. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. **YOU DO NOT NEED TO SIGN UP TO ATTEND. This is a free event**

Donate candy, or treats. Donation bins will are in the front office for bags of individually-wrapped candy or treats (eg. erasers, fidgets) to add to what our Trunk or Treat cars bring to hand out. Lots of kids = lots of treats!

Volunteer your time. We need helpers to direct car traffic, people and perform other small tasks during the event. Melissa Lean ([email protected]) to sign up.

We had a great time surprising students and staff with our first pop up attendance day! As part of our efforts to celebrate student attendance, all students in grades RECC-5 received a popsicle to enjoy! Stay tuned for our next surprise attendance day…the dates are a secret!

Save the date! Restaurant night October 21 at Honeygrow! A portion of the proceeds will go to the Waterloo PTA!

Signs ups are now LIVE for this year’s trunk or treat. Sign up to reserve your parking spot to decorate a trunk!
Unsure of what it means to decorate a trunk? Choose any fun, funky or spooky theme for your trunk, park your car for the duration of the event, hand out individually-packaged candy (or non-food treats of your choice) to distribute to trick-or-treaters. The PTA may have some extra candy to supplement, should you run out.
Please note you do NOT NEED TO SIGN UP to attend this event. Attendance is free. Sign ups are for those decorating trunks
Here are some photos of previous year’s trunks!

We need 1 more volunteer coach to help run Waterloo’s Girls on the Run team! If we do not have 2 coaches, unfortunately, the Fall session cannot proceed. Waterloo will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:15pm starting Thursday, September 17. Visit www.gotrcentralmd.org for a list of program sites and to register.
