Charleston Wrap ends this FRIDAY and we are less than halfway to hitting our goal. Thank-you so much to the families that have shared our fundraiser and participated thus far. We have raised $8,407 for our wonderful school but are far short of our $20,000 goal. The money that we raise goes right back into our wonderful school toward building and ground improvements, scholarships, field trips, and school necessities. Please help by sharing your store link on social media with 10 people or buying 10 items.

We’re excited for our Saint Joseph sixth graders to partner with Cardinal Newman for **Middle School Youth in Government!** ⚖️🏛️

Meeting on Wednesday afternoons, our delegates will work with a partner to develop, write, and present a bill about an issue that matters to them. In November, they’ll take their ideas to the **South Carolina State House**, where they’ll participate in a hands-on simulation of our state government.

What a great opportunity to build leadership skills, find their voices, and see government in action. We can’t wait to see what our Saints accomplish! 💙💚

⛪ Sometimes, the best thing we can do is simply slow down and notice.

Last week, our 2nd graders, and this week, our 5th and 6th graders, spent time with Campus Ministry learning how to enter our church with reverence and recognize the sacred space around them.

They took time to look, notice, wonder, and learn more about the altar, tabernacle, sacred images, and other signs that point us toward God.

Most importantly, they had a chance to be still, quiet their hearts, and simply rest with Him. 💙🙏

From their first All-School Mass as 4K students to their first All-School Mass as 6th-grade leaders… how these sweet faces have changed! ❤️
It feels like just yesterday they were our littlest Saints, and now they are stepping into their final year at Saint Joseph Catholic School as the leaders of our school. Time truly does fly. 🥹 We are so grateful for the privilege of watching them learn, grow, and grow in their faith along the way.

✝️ A Beautiful First All-School Mass ✝️
What a special morning at Saint Joseph Catholic School as we celebrated our first All-School Mass of the year and our 6th Grade Candlelight Leadership Service. 🕯️❤️
During his homily, Monsignor Harris shared a memorable lesson about how we can be like pencils. ✏️
Some pencils have no point or eraser and accomplish very little. Some have two erasers, so focused on avoiding mistakes that they are afraid to try. Others have two points, believing they will never make a mistake.
But what we really need is both a point and an eraser. We need the courage to try our best, knowing that mistakes will happen along the way. When they do, we can turn to God, learn from them, “erase” them, and begin again. 🙏
What a beautiful message as we begin a new school year; work hard, be willing to make mistakes, trust in God, and remember that each day is an opportunity to start again. ✏️❤️
We are especially proud of our 6th graders as they begin their year of leadership, setting an example for our younger Saints through their faith, service, and actions. 🕯️
