1. Carousel has a rich history in Columbia. It opened in 1962 to serve the west portion of town.

2. The teachers love their students and are passionate about teaching. They are often found on the floor engaging with the children with puzzles or blocks or dolls or cars or books.

3. Learning is fun at Carousel. We use a play based approach that gives the students hands-on experiences. We enjoy seeing their faces light up with excitement.

4. Our facility is bright and light with four rooms for the children to rotate through during the course of the day. The students enjoy circle time, dramatic play, literacy, art, science, and math.

Carousel Playschool is accepting applications for the 2021-2022 academic year for children ages 3-5 (age 3 by 10/31). Preschool options include 5, 3, or 2 day options from 9AM - 12:30PM.

These kiddos sure did enjoy learning the Pledge of Allegiance.

More fun activity bins from Miss Brandi! Ready for those kiddos to explore. Butterfly color sorting both poms and butterflies along with some fun books. Magnifying glasses to check out all the insects in the insect activity bin. There are lots of different textures and great tools to work those fine motor muscles in little hands.

Miss Brandi has been busy making table time themed tubs for the preschoolers this year.
* Space theme with “moon” rocks.
* Construction theme with “dirt” and mini scoopers.

These are kid tested and approved. 😃
