Today, we pause to honor and remember those who gave everything for our country.

The Tuition Grants Commission will be closed on Monday, May 25th, reopening on Tuesday, May 26th at 8:00 AM.

The Tuition Grants Commission staff are excited to be at College and Career Decision Day at the State House today! Congratulations to the high school class of 2026!

On April 29, 2026, The SC Tuition Grants Commission hosted a statewide training workshop for financial aid professionals at our partnering independent colleges. We were fortunate to have representatives from all 21 colleges throughout the state in attendance. Participants engaged with Commission staff on areas such as program funding, best practices in administration and compliance, determination of residency status for students, strategic planning initiatives, and more.

Financial aid professionals are key stakeholders for the Tuition Grants Program and for our agency. We appreciate the opportunity to provide training and information to them, and to receive their critical feedback in return. Thank you to all who attended!

We are so excited for our Communications and Outreach Intern as she prepares for this amazing opportunity! Lily’s academic focus in Business Administration directly supports the principles of economic and community development, and we look forward to learning more about her experience this summer. Email notifications for the 2026–2027 Tuition Grants are on the way.

This morning, the Tuition Grants Commission began emailing students who have filed a FAFSA listing a participating independent institution for the upcoming academic year.
