Tri-District Arts Consortium

Tri-District Arts Consortium Tri-DAC is an intensive 3 week summer program for middle school students talented and gifted in creative writing, dance, music, theatre, or the visual arts.

The Tri-District Arts Consortium was founded in 1985 and is an intensive 3 week summer program for rising 6th-9th graders in Lexington School District 1, Richland/Lexington School District 5, and Richland School District 2 who are talented and gifted in creative writing, dance, music (band, chorus, string orchestra), theatre, or the visual arts. Students are nominated by their parents or teachers

to audition for the program. Auditions are held yearly in March and Tri-DAC is held the first 3 weeks in July, culminating in a 2 day festival showcase.

Help us celebrate 40 years of artistic excellence! Feast on the delectable delights and sumptuous sips from Scott Hall Catering and Twist. Dance to the music of the Dick Goodwin Jazz Ensemble and walk through the museum galleries to the sounds of the Tri-DAC Faculty String Quartet. Enter a raffle to win a Tri-DAC T-Shirt Quilt or bid on Silent Auction items including a Dawn Staley autographed basketball, original artwork, gift certificates, concert tickets and much more.
