Congratulations to A Shore Thing Cakery and Confectioms for winning a golden ticket 🎫 to the World Food Championships for our online recipe competition.

The dish features a waffled Maryland style crab cake topped with a Fisher’s Caramel Corn crusted rockfish filet, a kicked up Maryland crab dip, zesty lemon aioli and a sprinkle of microgreens to complete the dish.

We’re gearing up for competition season!!!!

We’re looking for amazing sponsors who want to help make the Maryland ProStart Student Invitational amazing for our future hospitality leaders. MPSI will be February 25th at The Garage at R. House . We are looking for your help to make it and unforgettable event and an easy road to Nationals, which will be April 23-26 at the Marriott Waterfront Baltimore.

Have you ever had Snakehead Fish???
Because they lack natural predators in North America and reproduce quickly, they can disrupt local aquatic food webs. So what do you with an invasive fish? You put it on menus and find different ways to cook it!!

Today we had 4 amazing chefs competing for a golden ticket to the World Food Championships . Chefs were tasked with using Snakehead Fish supplied by J.J. McDonnell & Co. and incorporating at least one McCormick spice in their dish, supplied by McCormick for Chefs

This was brought together with the help of Maryland's Best at the MD Seafood Festival

Whew… What a day!!!
These chefs came out and gave the people a SHOW!!!! The smells, the food and the people made this a great event. Shout out to all the chefs that signed up. You guys showed up and showed out. This was a great group of chefs and we’re excited to see what they do next.

Thank you to Reisterstown Farmers Market for hosting us and connecting us with some great vendors from across Maryland. Our competitors had to highlight 4 ingredients from the market, and that they did.

Thank you to McCormick for Chefs for being a sponsor and providing the chefs with some great spices. Chefs also were tasked with incorporating at least one McCormick spice in their dish.
